My first TWS purchase was the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC, expected great things from reviews online but they ended up falling flat. Every single feature you can think of is there but they don’t do any of them well. Ended up selling them and getting the Buds FE instead.

They are pretty barebones in terms of features, but they do the basics really well. Better ANC and transparency, with the sound being MILES better than the 4 NC. Buds FE loses pretty hard on battery life, had to return mine because I only got 4 hours with ANC and the right side dies faster for some reason.

Second pair is on the way and I only got them for $50. Incredible value.

Samsung exclusive codec, fake multipoint, disgusting glossy case (nice form factor though), and lack of custom EQ are my complaints.

Where’d you get it for $50? That’s a sweet deal.

If you make use of the ANC and Ambient modes (which I think a lot of people will), it’s definitely worth it. Especially since the core wireless performance and stability is excellent. I do think Samsung might have some quality control issues… I had an instance where the connection suddenly dropped after being extremely stable and like you, the right side died way faster and didn’t charge up properly. It only happened once so I hope it’s not a forebear of what’s to come. Also as you can see in my graphs, there’s a bit of channel imbalance. This is actually my 2nd Buds FE. The first one was even worse. There was no bass at all in the left side.

Also regarding the glossy case… totally agree. That was my biggest disappointment when I unboxed it actually. I was hoping for something a little more matte. But apparently with some of the other Galaxy Buds, the matte coating would wear off so the glossy is better. I got used to it pretty quick so I guess it wasn’t a big deal in the end for me.

It was from a Chinese store on Shopee. It’s listed at $80 but on 11.11 sale everything was $30 off.

Okay I’m kinda worried now since you have the same battery problem…

I’m planning to buy Spinfit CP1025 for it once I get the buds, hope the battery was a fluke and not a widespread issue on these.

Be careful guys! I spotted many listing on an Asia e-commerce claiming to be 100% original but actually a super clone (clone made to imitate the real one as close as possible). They usually goes for below $50, the real one should cost $100.

What I found to be disturbing is even the fake one shows in quick pair as if a real one does, so it is not a good indicator of a real FE buds. The only way to check for real is to go to Samsung store and check if the IMEI is legit or has been blacklisted, or get one for free by purchasing some tablet or phones.
