What you moving on to? Haven’t you had them all? Saw your headfi post. Empyrean are comfy but do have too much bass for me.

I came to the realization that I’m into bass heavy cans. So I like BAM and BOOM in my sound. The TC does have a lot of bass but not the way I like it. So I’m into Empyrean, Verite, Gjallarhorn, and HEDDphone(this is the least but has dynamic punch). I was always bored with other TOTL headphones.

Have you tried LCD-4’s with a little bit of eq? I definetly am into bass heavy cans. Still have my Empy but am selling them because to me the LCD-4 does everything other than wide Soundstage better then the empy.
I just went with lcd-4 and concur that it hits bass in a more natural way than empyrean and had excellent detail retrieval.

I liked the overall presentation of the LCD 4 but people made it sound like it was a bass headphone. So I sent them back.
