At times I appreciate the extra perceived resolution, but occasionally it’s too sharp (track dependent). I think overall I prefer the upper treble to the less airy 2’s, though, as they can come across as dull at times.
The bass is where things get unhinged for me. With some of the heavy metal or electronic recordings it can be fun, but otherwise it’s a little too much.
