I am VERY SATISFIED with my amp/dac setup. I really don’t have a desire to start tube rolling at this point…however, I would like to have a back-up tube on hand. Any recommendations for the Vali 2 for around $20 (US)?

I’d go with the Electro Harmonix 6CG7. I talked about it a little in my review of the Vali 2 (and Magni 3).
The gold-pin version isn’t really worth it … if you want to spend more, buy a bottle of De-Oxit.
