Interestingly, how you described your experience with the ADX7000 is very, very similar to how I would describe my experience with the HD 800 S.
Both in terms of how you described the bass, midrange, and treble(which includes the large dip at 8kHz and the 10kHz peak) as well as how the sense of openness can give the warmer qualities of the headphone room to breathe so that things rarely sound “Sloppy”
And then I have similar issues with the stock cable of the 800 S, as well as headband discomfort. Just thought that was interesting, I enjoy reading your reviews! Even though I’ll likely never have the desire to pay so much money for most of these headphones.
