Nearly two weeks on and this replacement connects a lot better than the first one, a lot less hassle. On my first one i think i must have had the worst of the worst.

I’ve had the Arche since December of 2020 (which means it’s out of warranty by about 10 months now) and about 4 months ago, the knob started doing weird stuff, causing the volume to jump around in random amounts (positive and negative) whenever I turn it.
Pushing the knob down to the left seems to solve the issue somewhat, which leads me to believe that it’s a solder point that gave up.
As I mentioned, it’s out of warranty, and returning it to Focal for repairs would cost me an astonishing 450€, which I do not think is an acceptable amount of money to resolder a knob.
Have any of you experienced the same thing? If so, did you solve it on your own? And if you did, do you have a disassembly guide I could follow?
