with the Audeze LCD-3 and the Hedd2 being the same price how do these two compare… ---

Unfortunately I haven’t heard the LCD-3. The closest comparison I have is to the MM-500. ---

This very well done review of the Heddphone 2 reads like it was a review of the Monoprice AMT headphones, which I have. The two are evidently very similar in design, performance and pros/cons. The Monoprice has the bass rolloff below 60 Hz or so, and also the upper midrange dropout. These characteristics must be due to the Heil driver basic design. In my case I have used considerable parametric EQ for correction. The only significant differences according to the review are the weight and the price. The Monoprice AMT weighs quite a bit more, 680 grams. I notice that somewhat excessive weight quite a lot, though at least for me it is distributed evenly enough to not be a big problem. The other significant difference is the price, where the Monoprice AMT comes in currently at $900. There is also an annoyance in the Monoprice design: it uses an ideosyncratic oddball pinout configuration for the 4-pin mini XLR headphone connectors, so that aftermarket high quality headphone cables designed for common high-end headphones are incompatible. For instance using cables designed with the common Audeze pinout can burn out the amplifier due to shorting signal to ground. ---

Bumping this with my own review: [HEDDphone TWO Air Motion Transformer Headphones Review | TechPowerUp](https://www.techpowerup.com/review/heddphone-two-open-back-air-motion-transformer-headphones/) Features comparisons to the original HEDDphone as well but overall this is a very unique, highly technical beast of a set that may or may not be to your music interests. It’s quite something how much body these AMT drivers add throughout the frequency response, especially the mids for the HEDDphone TWO. ---

I love the guys at HEDD. When I first met their engineer and Mr Knop at Canjam London last year, I was absolutely blown away by their kindness and passion for their craft. Incredible guys. Mr Klaus unfortunately didn’t attend, but it was still wonderful meeting the people who made my HEDDphone Two which I purchased later in December that year. I really hope to see them again this year and to congratulate them on their succesful launch of the Two (and maybe fetch a signature on my unit if they dont mind 😜) ---

Found this thread, I’m also confused (didn’t see this question answered) I just looked around the Hedd Audio site, ans it says it’s actually a 2 year warranty and to get 5 years one has to register within 6 months of purchase. Since I was a preorder, the 6 months has passed at this point, so, I won’t be able to get the 5 years? Unless, for some reason, buying them from you automatically comes with the 5 years? Would love some clarification, as this was not clear on your product page (which just says 5 year warranty) Appreciate it!
