Time to give the HiBY FD5 a mention and a proper thread. More info on this DAC/AMP here: [HiBy FD5 — Cyberpunk desktop HiFi](https://store.hiby.com/products/hiby-fd5) In reviews the FD5 is mainly praised for its musicality and dynamics. (Just) coming from a FiiO K7, which has given me countless hours of joy, I can only attest to this. The FD5 opens up and intensifies music for me. The class A mode adds in my view what I would describe as complete “lushness”, while the class AB mode tones that down a little bit giving a tad more clarity and retains a little rawness (that some songs from e.g. U2 need in my view). Maybe others can also share their experiences here? ---

Small update: the unit can get quite hot. (still touchable, but very warm)
