# Size of Music Library

My library is hovering around 80 TB at present (all legal).

That’s a result of having ~11,000 LPs (about 200 linear feet), down from 12,000 (eliminating duplicates/less interesting performances), 12,000 or so CDs, and about the same again in unique digital downloads (both 16/44.1 and hi-res).

So that’s about 35,000 unique albums, and then some overlap on top of that for stuff I have in multiple formats. For example, the LPs that have digital versions have been rebought as digital downloads (where those aren’t available I have done proper needledrops).

I’ll post the actual album, track and artist counts next time I’m near my Roon rig.
