The Stratus, Black Widow and Crack need no explanation, but the decision to keep the Jot over the T4 is interesting. Was it purely diminishing returns, or are there respects in which you actually prefer the Jot? ---

It’s new, so it’s fun and interesting to explore what it can do. I have also loaned it to a friend along with my Verite C, so it’s out seeing the world and meeting new people (in a socially distanced and safe style, of course). It’s kind of tradition for my local audiophile friends and I to share new gear. That’s why my friend got to hear the E-2A3 Linlai tubes I purchased before I did, I loaned them out. Jotunheim 2 does have a really unique sound, and pairs well with the VC. Worth experiencing. Maybe worth owning, depending on your headphones and preferences. ---
