IMO compared to MDR-MV1 it has two “weaknesses” (not real ones, mind, just comparatively weaker bits).

  1. Price. I assume this is self-explanatory :slight_smile:

  2. Bass quantity. Despite our continuous insistence that bass THD is essentially a non-issue, I’ve encountered more than a few people doubtful of D1’s ability to take additional bass gain. This doesn’t mean its not able to, of course it can, but MDR-MV1 having enough bass out of the box that I foresee very few people adding more, and thus it never even occurring to them to think about bass THD, seems like a good thing.
