Yes I am also skeptical of the rule that any headphone can have any amount of bass short of distorting. It just doesn’t fit my own experience in attempting to increase the bass level in headphones with low acoustic impedance, such as the HD800S and HD6XX.
So yeah I haven’t bought a D1 to play with because I don’t think it will meet my bass requirements.
