I’ve tried all of the different EQ curves, and I’ve settled on something of my own (accounting for that 3.2khz spike)
I’m running my audio out from my mobo (X870E Taichi Lite) to my RME Fireface UCX II via USB, then TOSLINK out to my FIIO K15 DAC/Headphone amplifier.
And I smile every time I listen to anything through these cans. I haven’t even gotten into lossless audio yet.
1 (red) and 3 (blue) are shelving, with 2 (green) being a notch.
More bass; mids are full/present/warm; and the high end is much more detailed without harshness (due to the 3.2/3.3khz notch)
It is good for every genre, movie or show (older shows from the 60’s and 70’s didn’t have great audio, so nothing really fixes that lol)
