A/D/S 910 speaker stereo in a large, open room is my favorite haven, but my Denon/Klipsch 7.2.4 home theater, my DSP assisted desktop 2.1, or a nice pair of headphones is nice too. I’ll even listen to headphones considered junk by today’s standards to rekindle old memories. Maybe…I can never recapture a sense of excitement, hearing new music on an old plastic 9 volt transistor radio, with a flat, 2 inch paper speaker, but it’s good to remember that I used to experience music and attempt to learn lyrics under exactly such conditions.
