Compact Speakers for Desk Use

Right now I’m mainly considering the iLoud MTM MK2. They’re small enough and I want to try the built-in room correction feature. Other than this pair, the only other good options I know of are common recommendations like the AudioEngine A2+.

Anyone know some other good options to consider?

Check out this video. Erin is my favorite speaker reviewer and backs things up with data.

I bought the IK MTM Mk2’s a few months ago and have been very happy with them. I’m using a Universal Volt as an audio interface. I also have their subwoofer which is great but isn’t a total need unless you are making music.

Thanks I’ll look into his videos

That’s good to hear. You’re talking about the regular MK2’s and not the Precision model right?

I had the Audioengine 2+ for many years, and recently upgraded to Adam D3V, after checking out a few other desktop speakers. I liked the size, the linearity, tone, bass, and the switch on the front. It was also about 2/3 rd the price of the illusion in Australia.
