Loving my A2N but have my eye out for the X
I bit the bullet on the Noire X a couple of months ago, and very happy with my choice after listening to a bunch of other headphones. As well as the sound (I must like Harmon tuning) they are very convenient for travelling as they are closed back and fold down into a compact case. When travelling I run them off an Ibasso DC07 pro or an older Cayin Ru6. The iBasso is more powerful (the 60 setting drives them well enough), the stage is wider, better separation of instruments and treble for most tracks, but Cayin still has some charm on some tracks, especially female vocals. At home run an Apos Merlin Dac and Gremlin Tube Amp with upgraded PSVane tubes - they are both great value and overall the system has a very engaging sound that I can listen to for hours.
