Heh heh. About that. I messed up and I’ll have to rewrite a significant amount of that post. So… it’ll be a few days. :grimacing:

I lied. I found some time to fix it.

I used to own the original X2. They had comfort issues such as the ones you pointed out, and the sound was only average but undeniably V shaped fun. The ear pads were a velvety material that was soft, but very itchy after an hour of use.

I was hoping to hear the HR revision was better, but I don’t think there is much improvement there based on your review.

I don’t think the sound really changed much, let alone improved much, between the X2 and X2HR. Maybe the X3 will be better.

The sound may not have changed much, but the comfort sure has. The X2HRs are the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever owned.

You’d probably love the AKG line of headphones too as they use a similar design. My AKG 712 PRO are the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever tried on.
