Tanchjim Origin: Back to Basics?

Listened to the Origin in a Jaben store just last week, as a hobbyist that started around 2016, I really am impressed by the quality of gears you can get for under 500 these days. Direct comparison to the IEMs I brought to the store (ATH IM04, IE300, A8000 and IER Z1R) the Final flagship is the closest one in tuning to it. And man do they compare.
Acoustic and classical music the final just have that step up in everything, detail, speed, Soundstage, and delineation of layers, I can just say instruments sound more “real” with them.

But really, its close like 80% the way there, and for less than 1/2 the price of used A8000 running these days, people really get a lot for their money in mid fi. Going higher from 500usd these days really is just for getting the last tiny bit of performance, that street cred on forums with running the most expensive gear a company sells, and thats it. Nobody need to go higher like I did but hey am here already, it’s I guess time to sell all the old gears I bought along the way as really they can’t compare to the current crop in the market and they will get left behind even more with times.
IEM market is ruthless like that man…
