Very nice review and agree with lot of things mentioned and with my use ~ 1 year
Currently using it as a main setup in my apartment (read cannot get too loud)
using it 2 different ways
Nvidia Shield > USB > Topping MX3 > Advent AS2 >> I frequently have the screen flickering between 48kHz and 96kHz, then settling on 48kHz but no sound is present, setting USB on Nvidia to high performance seems to work, may be its to do with Android OS and handling on USB / sound drivers, not sure > Sounds very good once 96khz stabilizes. punchy low end and clear highs.
Nvidia Shield > HDMI > Samsung TV > optical > Topping MX3 > Advent AS2 >> Plays very stable with full Auto on and off function >> Sounds OK but only 48khz, sounds a bit muddy and muffed low end.
Sennheiser HD 202 for late night listening.
Bluetooth connected to Alexa
Overall I am happy with my setup for now
