TOTL tubed headpone amp

Yeah, that aint happening any more. The folks I know on the wait lists are looking at around 8 months and some have even passed their delivery date. Parts issue.

I got my Starlett about 1 month early but see that as a mild miracle now.

I haven’t even “broken in” the Stratus yet.

No time? Or being gentle?

I also got a big TV in what had been the large bedroom how a library/den/clubroom/home theater kind of space. And there’s a “B” system in there that has been getting a lot of use. Also, I realized that having the Stratus in the office where I spend a fair amount of time working, might be the wrong place for it, because if I don’t need to be back there I usually am somewhere else in the house (main hi-fi or watching movies). I just need to build-in dedicated listening time, or, eventually, move it into the main system (when I get a phono pre-amp so I can listen to LPs in pure analog). It’s fine … I’m rearranging the office and making it nicer as a hang-out space for myself, which will lead to more listening.

Steve, this makes complete sense! My condo is one space, so there is no escape from the “office” after work is done. When I visit my parents on the west coast, I work out of their den and once I am checked out, I don’t go back in there until the next day.

Carrying the Stratus from room to room would be a good workout…I am kidding. Although I have considered a mobile audio station for those days I would like to listen to music not by my desk.

I don’t mind setting it up around the house at all! It’s actually a really easy amp to move and fits into most of my spaces for audio. Better than a lot of gear.
