What are the best ways to test the Focal BATHYS MG’s?

Do they need burn in time?

Best music to try?

Best music format? (.m4a/.flac/.wav)

Settings suggestions in the app?

Setting suggestions on a Mac Studio?

Any and all suggestions are appreciated, as this is a huge investment for me.

Just listen to them with music you’re very familiar with, regardless of the resolution of the music. That’s the best way to “test” them

I would test them on Bluetooth , the USB C option sounded better to me but are you always going to use them wired. If so buy the Clear Mg.

I don’t know about the Bathys but Focal certainly recommend a burn in period for the Clear Mg of at least 24 hrs continuous play.

My test is a series of tracks in a playlist in Roon that I know really well, its a mix of classical and rock ,eg. Mozart Queen of the Night Aria to Nivana Unplugged whatever you like and appreciate the quality of, format is irellevant
