Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro (80 ohm) Review - Beyer's Finest?

You really should test the 250 ohm version. I’ve owned both in my voiceover studio. I found the 80 ohm model to be a bit too bassy and muddy for my deep voice, especially in comparison to my Focal monitors. They have a nice “oh wow” factor and sound great on music. But I sold mine after I got the 250 ohm version. They aren’t as muddy and have more detailed highs. The downside is that they require a beefy amp to drive them. A phone or laptop probably won’t drive them to their full potential. The 250 ohm version is often found in recording studios.
