This community is producing a ton of great content.

Our next YT show is a pre-recorded interview with @toranku who some may know from his popular head-fi IEM thread. I wasn’t involved in this interview, so I’ll be hearing it for the first time too. I believe it’ll be released on YT at 5PM PST on Thursday/8AM in Singapore on Friday.

Good debuting review.

Nice touch adding the PEACE walk through at the end. Just by looking at the correction curve, it does not intuitive translate the night ‘n’ day difference you claim to hear. Amazing.

This was actually one of the takeaways I got from Sunday’s show with the Austrian guy (oratory, I think): do not judge a headphone by its FR. We all committed that sin at some point.

The other takeaway was: EQ’ing a HD600 is some kind of blasphemy and you’ll most likely go to hell. Then you’ll have the chance to see for yourself whether the Devil is really wearing Sundaras.

Cheers.

Thanks to both of you for doing this. I thought I can multitask but reality is cruel. I’ll re-watch later.

Thank you for joining @MRHifiReviews and thanks for tuning in everyone! That was fun, I’ll try and get another one in place for next week sometime. Also “The Hobbyist Show” with @DEXCOM7 and I will have a set schedule of 5pm PST on Wed every week. With shows on the weekend here and there as time and family permit!

Cheers, and thanks for watching/listening!

Not sure what was up with the video latency on my end apologies guys! Shouldn’t have had an issue with my internet speeds. I will have to take a look at it prior to the next time.

Hey man, thank you so much for checking out the review. I know the turtorial at the end was a little brief, but I’m glad it was informative. I think that aspect you mention of FR and EQ not always showing how big those small changes can be is a very good observation, and one I agree with. It’s only a dB or two here and there, but man do headphones change (it varies per headphone obviously, but you know). Also yeah, the HD 600 is a time-tested classic, better respect it

I watched your review with the HD58X, btw. The background music distracted me a few times. Probably due the imaging of the 58X. Music was good – don’t get me wrong – but the spotlight in the video should be the product being reviewed, not the background music.

Once again, for a debuting review, I would never made it better myself. Good job. :+1:
