Its mainly used on my pc setup for gaming but i still really enjoy it just 1266tc and suavara are quite a few levels up in comparison. Its soundstage size and layering are just awesome
The oor and hypsos and enleum 23r are getting replaced by the Zahl HM1 and most likely the formula S and P will get sold as as well so i will only have 1 solid state amp along with the 2 tube amps.
Pretty much all my time is spent on both tube amps as they are both superior to everything else.
Beautiful set up. Question for you: I have the Chord Dave with the MScaler and several SS headphone amps (Soloist 3x, GS Mini etc. with the H-1 on order like you). I am not much of a tube guy and just bought the new Cayin 300B Mark II to start and see if I liked it but…how does the holo KTE sound compare with the Dave? I assume warmer and lusher but maybe less precise? Very interested in your take. Again a beautiful rig.
In NOS mode, the holo may is more natural and sounds extremely analogue. Soundstage width and depth is a little bigger than dave and m-scaler. Its smoother than the dave but its the realism and timbre and dynamics that are just so incredible. Instruments just sound amazingly convincing. Tonal density is way better on the holo may as well, Its definitely a richer sound overall.
I really like the dave/M-scaler for electronic music as it hits harder with faster transients and is more in your face but the holo may wins for everything else imo and thats why i own both dacs.
I highly recommend trying one or buying one if you can.

Made some changes recently. Sold some things, added some things. Thanks to @Polygonhell for the DNA stratus sale. I demoed the stratus about a year ago and really enjoyed it. It’s been in the back of my mind since. Glad I was able to pick one up with some excellent tubes. Added the wavelight as well. Really like this dac. Probably my favorite dac so far. The bryston bha-1 is a great addition too and filling that solid state role nicely. I really like the pairing with the wavelight.
Currently using the HD800S, HD650, HD580, LCD 2.2 PF, and Radiance. Should be receiving the Utopia soon and hope it works out for me. I’ve thought about picking up the HE1000SE or D8000 pro. I really like the linear bass and texture the susvara had when I owned it, maybe one of those can fill that void.
