I had a Stellaris on order for 6 months before realizing I’m too bad with patience and found Studio B instead. But they 300B vs 2A3 so there is hope yet for me
Glad to hear you’re enjoying the Wavelight, Donald recommended Rockna as having good synergy with his amps. I struggled with Wavelight/Spring/May for the longest time.
Utopia and HD800 is supposed to be some of the best pairing with DNA amps so you’re in for some good times
No, it’s not a v4. One of the last before Donald started v4.
The 2A3s are Linlai global elites and the rectifier is just a rca 5u4g. I think the main tube that needs swapped when getting a stratus is the rectifier. Stock rectifier is a little dry imo.
These were sold with the amp. So that worked out. When I demoed the v4 prototype it was the same imo, the rectifier needed to be swapped. The v4 may be a little better, because I’m sure Donald wouldn’t make it worse, but this is very close to what I was hearing with the demo. And maybe a little better with these tubes.
Good to hear Donald said the wavelight was a solid match. I feel it has the best of both worlds when comparing the tt2 and holo May.
If I get the itch again, I may go stellaris. Thought about a v4 but I don’t think it’ll be that much of an improvement. I’d rather go stellaris.

I ordered it from a company, radio dust covers. They were very easy to work with. Just email them and Stan will ask for the amp measurements, which Donald has on his site.

Yes of course. It’s a new house so first things first I need to decide on new speakers and after that I’ll fill the room with most of what you mentioned (treatment where needed and some extra furniture, plants, wall decor etc)
I just closed a deal on what I consider are medium-term interim speakers (Omega Junior 8 XRS) that I know are a great fit for my components and should give me a good idea where I want to go next. I have some ideas for my endgame setup but that’ll take some time to get to.
Louis does nice work. High sensitivity single driver speakers paired with a tube amp present a compelling listen, but doesn’t always offer versatility depending on the genre, room, preferences. As you say, should give you an idea for where to go next - or designation for specialist duties.
Those are Adam T5V. I didn’t go higher up in their range yet since I only really use them for videos etc. For music listening I’m mostly using my headphones.
