I haven’t fired up this amp for a while, put it on my desk and hooked it up to my centaurus and put it on my atrium and instantly turned my nose up at it because it wasn’t clear enough. But tonight I’m a couple of beer’s in and my dragon is on another desk, and I am thoroughly amused. I don’t know if it’s just the track’s I’m on tonight or what, but I’m loving it. The graininess or the tubes I landed on from my 6xx are just a treat tonight. This is purely subjective, and my rough understanding of the state of the forum is we have forgotten that it’s not all science. I appreciate the drive to narrow the experience to 1’s and 0’s so you have some way of conveying 1’s and 0’s to other’s exactly. But don’t lose the magic this hobby presents.

I have a friend with one of these and I’ve borrowed it for a decent length of time. This is a great tube amp! If it was still available new I would own one, but it seems I missed the boat by a few years.
