Feliks Audio Euforia - Official Thread

I have nothing else in the works for either amp at his time as each was reviewed, and we did a live stream hangout that you already watched (not a review) . Hope those other videos help. Cheers. @NordicDave

I agree with this to an extent, if you get warmth with bloat you’re gonna lose something. I like my amp as it straddles the line between the warm resonance while being a detail monster. Its all about the level of control the amp can maintain, and of course, what tubes you run, which is another kettle of fish as to bloat/resonance/warmth.

I may have not been as articulate as required in the point. Also agree with @andris

The point was transformer based amps seem less sensitive to headphone choice as compared to OTL amps for impedance matching. In an OTL amp the headphone becomes part of the active circuit and more critical to get right. Yes - right looking at sensitivity and noise floor and other factors. Makes sense.

I appreciate the guidance.

@MRHifiReviews Keep up the great work. Wish you were more local to SF Bay Area, I’d loan you equipment.

Thanks, @NordicDave I am a 4-hour drive, maybe we can grab coffee next time I am in the City.

Just got mine in a few days ago! Thrilled so far, not a lot to comment on performance yet as things are still burning in but it does sound great so far with both the Meze Liric and Focal Clear OG. Ultimately waiting on the Empyrean II I have on order as the real daily driver for the setup though.

Everyone knows blue is the warmest… flavour :flushed:

It’s a bizarre but really tasty “cocktail” made with rum, lemonade, violet syrup, and coconut syrup.
Gotta love all inclusive Turkish hotels!

I’ve just got this combination for my Euforia Evo. As you say, super quiet and really opens up the 3 dimensionality. Will be fascinating to hear how the sound develops with time - at the moment I would say the impact of drums has softened slightly.

Been using a Euphoria with a pair of Audeze LCD2-C and really love it, I do have crossed enabled. Curious who is not using it and why.
