This is my favorite headphone amp under $4,000. Tastes vary, but I personally preferred it in my own setup (on a Focal Utopia OG) vs a Schiit Mjolnir 3, Nitsch DSHA-3FN, and a Burson Soloist 3X GT. This one has stayed until I recently spent meaningfully more. Also worth noting is that my unit is a more recent build, which will accept virtually all aftermarket power cables (earlier units had a fuse bump by the power socket that prevented use of many aftermarket power cables). Gobs of power for a headphone amp, and incredibly clean sound with a very black background.
