Earlier in my career, I spent about seven years in varying roles in pro-audio, both live sound and studio recording. I’ve always tried to be mindful of long-term exposure to excessive volumes, but am realizing as I’ve grown older that my opinion of “excessive” might not match that of what my ears were expecting.
