IEMs Discovery & General Discussion

A little bit of describing the tonality would be helpful as well as the price tag.

Sub $500, punch and dynamic, I’m Ok with V or U shaped-good bass slam, but not bloated, clear, detailed, but not harsh treble and nice mids. I like a forgiving slightly warm presentation.

You can checkout Elysian Pilgrim. Not that much bass but will fulfill your need the most in this regard.

Thanks! I’ll do some research on the Elysian Pilgrim.

Hey folks, I just dropped my review of Shenzhen Audio’s new OOOPUSX OP.24. I was hoping for something special from the OP.24 given the crazy driver count for the price, but honestly, the tuning just wasn’t there with this one.

I just posted my review of the Kiwi Ears Belle, a $30 single-DD IEM that genuinely surprised me. The midrange and treble land very close to my preferred tilt of the population-average diffuse-field target, with natural timbre and punchy bass.

In the review, I compare it directly to the Truthear Gate, cover EQ potential, talk about source pairing and gaming performance, and explain why this has become my favorite IEM at this price point right now.
