Listening Chairs! What kind of chair do you like to sit in when you listen?

So I have been contemplating what would be a great chair to sit in and listen to music. What do you think makes up a good chair/recliner for listening?

Lol… I’ve posted that chair in another thread ha…

But honestly the Ikea poang is one of my favorite chairs… but currently due to ease of use I just use my office chair my wife gave me…I’ll check brand and style after the beast(daughter) goes to bed

I was checking those out to! I tried getting a couple imitation ones from wayfair and they were absolute garbage, promptly returned them. Need to figure out something more comfortable than my office chair. I have been even considering a full size bean bag, lol!

Eames designed some my absolute favorite furniture. But, my big assed body doesn’t fit! :laughing:

I’ve got my eyes on this Baughman. :eyes:
It’s a little more generous in size and has a great seating height/angle.

Thanks buddy! I am using my office chair right now too, but want to get something a bit more comfortable so I can kick my feet up.

I love mid century design. It’s so damned expensive, though. But my current chair is aging and I keep trying to convince my partner that we need this one! She just rolls her eye.

Yeah, the coolest stuff usually is so damn expensive. I wonder if there is a decent chair for a decent price?

I can confirm that they are quite comfortable. Good angle and it’s suspension design allows it to slightly rock. Good value.

Ideally the chair would be great for when listening to speakers and headphones, and definitely reclining would be awesome when listening via headphones.

Yes, lucky indeed. I bought it brand new for less than half the price from some excess warehouse or at least that’s what the seller told me (I called BS) :rofl:

That Poang chair might be the sweet spot for value/comfort.
