My LP died recently and I need to use a LCX until I get another. The problem is moving my audio cabinet is very difficult in order to get to the power source at the wall outlet. Since the adapter for the LP is already plugged in, can i just use the power cord+adapter for the LCX?
I wouldnât. LPs adapter is DC 36V while the input on LCX seems to be DC 30V.
Those are the correct voltage numbers. I was reading on a retailerâs website that a âregulatedâ adapter would be able to tolerate the voltage difference as long as the amperage of the LCX unit (which is 1.25a) didnât exceed that of the LP (=1.4). I have no idea if the power adapters for these headphone amps are regulated or not. But I will take your advice and not mess around with it.
