I have never played around with EQ. Don’t know the first thing about EQ, how to use it, although it could be neat to see what I could do with it. Just too busy with my trading business to pursue much of anything else really. Maybe someday.

Go to Schiit.com and buy a Loki mini or a Lokius. These are boxes that go between your DAC and amp. You turn knobs to change frequency bands. No training required. One can customize the sound for a given set of headphones in about 30 seconds, and then leave it alone for the next 6 months or 6 years.
