Just got this notification of a new earphone coming from Etymōtic. This really sounds interesting it is going to combine the sound I love from the Etymōtic, and the form factor of my 2nd most favorite the SE series Shure earphones. They are going to use

With this earphone Etymōtic is going start using a cable manufactured by Linum using Estron cabling the Linum T2 SuperBaX cable.

Have these been released yet? Can’t find it anywhere. Also what is this t2 connectors? Is it proprietary?
EVO releasing sometime in the latter half of May. Estimate from EtyDave on Head-Fi.
Bought an ER2XR last year and never felt the itch to upgrade. Would wait for the price announcement and take decision between Evo and Blessing 2.
