@LittleCans - That album cover = amazing.
That entire Cymande album is awesome and sounds killer in headphones. I have been listening to that album for years and it’s definitely a good one!
@LittleCans - listening to that Perilous Journey album by Gordon Giltrap right now.
Interesting and highly detailed recording, and magnificent in it’s 70s-ness!
Curiously his logo on this and other covers seems to be a close cousin to or inspiration for the Iron Maiden (!) logo, but the airbrushed cosmic figure is a better clue to what the music sounds like.
Been rocking my LCD 2s with some Opeth.
Interesting Maiden / Giltrap facts…
Apparently Steve Harris has said the logo was “inspired” from Bowie…which seems true because…well, it’s identical
Sounds incredible with my ZMF Pendant SE and Verite C. The holographic stage is so much fun!
Sounded incredible this morning on my Lyr 3 mb & LDC 2f.
It’s this kind of morning.
Looking for a big dose of beautiful melancholy to start your weekend?? Lol Look no further…
Listening, Bifrost2-V280-Radiance. Started with Max Richter “Taboo” which lead to this …wonderful
It is refreshing to see the mastering process of music.
@Wes_S - used to see Rusted Root at Penn State before Cruel Sun and their major label album - if memory serves me right they used to play at outdoor parties, then saw them in '99 (?) at the Carpenter Center in Richmond, VA - memorable and really great place to see a show. carpenter center richmond va - Google Search
That’s awesome! I have seen them live a couple of times, in smaller venues both times, and have been listening to them for years. I absolutely love everything about this band and their music has always brought me so much joy.
