What is Schiit Up To?

I just received my Freya+. Initial impressions are positive. Actually like the tube buffer- didn’t expect to like it but with a Purifi amp,

evens things out nicely.

Last Call for Schiit Gungnir Multibit:

They have 1 left on closeout if anyone is interested. Jason already indicated it is going on “hiatus” or discontinued :slightly_frowning_face:

Magni 3+ is also on close out because the Magni+ is now available. The negative gain setting looks interesting.

Looks like Schiit is engaging in Syn:

WTF? Go forth and Syn no more? Interesting/odd product, who knows?

Also, Urd is front and center in the photos. I wish they would get it released. It’s probably too rich/limited use for my blood, but it does seem interesting.

I’ve got an old but high quality Marantz 9500 for a CD transport/SACD player, hooked up to Yggy for CDs. Urd would have to have something compelling to consider it…

I find the Urd really appealing as I have access to countless CDs, but it’s not a high priority purchase for me. Still waiting on the Mjolnir 3 (I’m trying to obtain a Mjolnir 1 from a seller in Vancouver this week to tide me over).

I’m intrigued by their take on a single bit DAC.

I’m really convinced there is no better DAC at the <$1000 price point than Bifrost.

Agreed. Although I’m not a dac has a sound signature guy. I do enjoy what goes into the technology, and I think they are some of the most innovative in that space.
