You purchased one already then? That’s awesome!

Did you get it used? I think Sapele is the only new one he offers right now, and that wood definitely does not look like Sapele.

I’m listening to my Blackwood LTD Verite right now in your honor.

No, it’s new.
It’s a unused left over from February.

It’s the Redwood Burl Edition and looks gorgeous.

I hope I can get it until Saturday, if not

. well, I have to wait 2 more weeks, because the store manager takes vacation.

The closed backs are in my opinion more attractive than the open backs this time

The Eikon looks interesting

Actually I like green quite a bit, but this Sestet hmm

Well it‘s not a green one, but still a beauty:

And I can now fully understand your statement.

In which, I attribute a very unique quality to the Atrium and I value it no less.

Yes, these ZMF’s are real “WANT” headphones.

You “WANT” to look at them!

You “WANT” to feel them!

And above all, you “WANT” to listen to music with them!!

They appeal to several of your senses at once, which leads to a high level of satisfaction and simply makes life more worth living.

Well, until recently I certainly wasn’t, because this ear pad swapping, the reviewer’s preference to power these headphones with tubes and the fact that ZMF is a US brand and made them difficult to obtain in Europe, kept me from buying them for a long time.

Now that I have good access to the importer of this brand and have had my first extremely good experiences with the headphones, I want more of them.

Maybe I’ll be a cool boy

& build a personal ZMF shrine :innocent:  (listening station) so that I can enjoy them in my wing chair with a good glass of fine wine.

My Saturday morning listening session on my terrace.

And my goodness, what an extraordinarily good pairing.

The VO shows what quality of detail and imaging the Mojo2 is capable of producing in terms of sound.

And the M2 has the Verité Open drivers under excellent control.

Like an experienced rider with his dressage horse.

And in my humble experience, the VO is a real headphone diva that a very large proportion of my amplifiers “can’t stand”.

Compliments to Chord, this little dwarf can actually coax an excellent sound experience out of “some adult” headphones. :+1:

Nice coffee mug. Is it metric? Looks like 12 ounce to me.

It isn’t so much the quantity of liquid in the mug as the quality of the liquid in the mug.

All adds to the enjoyment of the music.

After two weeks of rain, fog and grey weather, I take the first opportunity to enjoy my coffee break on the terrace.

Of course not without my beloved music and a wonderful headphone setup.

Congratulations to Zach, with the Bokeh he has created a masterpiece in my ears.

Not when it comes to setting new sound and technical limits or making the inaudible audible.

No, he has perfected extremely solid sound behavior with these headphones to such an extent that it is addictive to want to listen to your playlists over and over again without ever feeling the urge to keep scrolling.

Even with music tracks that are “difficult” for headphones, you want to keep listening because they don’t bother you, as is often the case with other, often very expensive headphones.

At my listening Space I use my xDuoo TA22, and the ifi iDSD Signature on the move.

Both are excellent components to give the Bokeh the flair it needs to shine, and that’s exactly what this Headphone does!

:100:

Very detailed, unobtrusive but precise in its imaging, powerful in the lows, rather warm without emitting a pleasant brilliance.

What is also very impressive about the Bokeh, which also distinguishes all other ZMFs, is its ability to convey spatial representation excellently.

Every instrument, every voice sounds natural, the tones also resonate wonderfully in the depth of the room with the Bokeh, of course not at the level of a Caldera or Atrium, but still with a more than satisfactory result.

—————
Now and then the bass seems a little “over-motivated” and because it is not quite at the level of its big brothers in terms of clarity, precision and dynamics, it rarely but noticeably seems a little boomy.

However, this is more of an advantage for poorly mastered pop and rock music and don’t worry, we are not even close to Boom Box Bose level.

—————

My request to Zach would be the following:

Please improve the workmanship and comfort of the headband in the future, also for the rest of the portfolio, please

——————

Considering the price, the workmanship and the sound quality, I personally absolutely recommend these headphones.

These headphones are much more than just the “entry point” into the ZMF universe.<

Together with the iDSD Signature, they can be THE solution that makes any other headphones unnecessary, at an absolutely reasonable price. :man_shrugging:

I think that was the most positive thing I have ever said or written about a pair of headphones.

Have tried any pad rolling with your ZMFs Lothar? I’d be curious what your preferences are, especially for Atrium and Verite.

I’m really glad you like your Bokeh so much! :+1: I’m not sure what (if anything) I’'ll do in relation to upcoming ZMF November. Bokeh Open still on the list though

You might turn of the x-Bass of the iDSD when you find the Bass of the Bokeh a smitch too much.

P.S. and please get rid of this Bayern MĂŒnchen Coffee mug.
