Verite with Co-Pilot and BE2 Perf Hybrid pads :slight_smile:

I also tried it with the suspension strap off and both work and feel nice. :slight_smile:

What are the advantages of adding the Pilot pad, extra cushion or better fit on the head?

Oh, did you change out your suede strap for this too?
I realized another reason why I need the side, the leather strap is too slippery on my head…

No, I still have the Suede strap on my Verite Open… I may add a suede strap to my VC as well… but unsure… I think the Co-Pilot pads will go to my SR1A and one of my others headphones I think…just need to figure out which one…

Black grill and black rods. Stealth mode. Helps showcase the wood.

I guess the look of metal doesn’t interest me nearly as much as wood grain.

Either copper or rose gold. I’d go with copper.

Rose gold if you want harmony, stainless for contrast, black if you want to highlight the wood (as @ProfFalkin said).

The brass and copper will pick up a patina over time which may or may not be to your liking.

The Cocobolo is a nice one.

Does anyone have experience with the Universe Perforated Hybrids pad?

Have the reg universe perf on my Verite now. I’ll get the hybrids soon enough. Have the BE2 hybrid and the suede is very nice. The suede on the hybrids make it very comfortable.

Yes - the perf. Universe hybrid pads are one of my favorite pads for the Aeolus

@raindownthunda, How would you describe their sound? What changed from the Universe Lambskins (I think those are the stock pads that come with Aeolus)?

the Aeolus has a unique set of Universe pads that you can only get by ordering the Aeolus…or email and requesting from ZMF… just wanted to put that out there :wink: they are not the same as the Universe Perf pads
