Thanks! I’d read online about the two stages that are most commona and one of them being the volume stage for a slight tweak as you indicated. I will look at the thread. I just want to soften a bit of the edge in the highs that can be a little fatiguing or sharp on some recordings.

I picked up a Fusion Core power supply from Bloom with CanJam discount. Burning it in now. Already sounds exceptional.

I finally bought a pair of V7 Classics, and I’ve tried them in the voltage gain stage, first, and now, in the input buffer stage where I think I like them, taking the edge off of some treble energy while still sounding dynamic. Note to self: try them in the volume control buffer.
