Corona-virus (Covid-19) Discussion

Same over here in the US, non-stop. It’s driving people into the ‘hysteria’ level. As the news organizations just are 24/7 nonstop (end of the world virus hype). And this is significantly hurting the economy’s of the world. Amid all of the other stuff going on, all sporting events have been canceled indefinitely or postponed, (soccer, hockey, basketball, soon to be baseball, racing etc.). Most of the schools in America are closed or closing for atleast the rest of the month if not longer(which affects all working families) and for whatever reason there has been a hoarding of toilet paper (which is something I have to have and go through a lot of because of my condition) they are literally out of toilet paper at ALL of are local stores(completely empty shelves) which the toilet paper thing makes no sense to me at all. I mean I can see people going crazy over cleaning supplies like Lysol disinfectant or items like hand sanitizer but toilet paper!?!? WTF. Places Like Disneyland and DisneyWorld are closing for atleast the rest of the month(first time in Disneyland’s history that it will be closed for so long) already the three big airlines(Delta, American Airlines, United)are asking for a bailout to stay in business. It is absolutely insane. The US economy has lost over 20% of its value in less than two weeks.

Yes the Coronavirus has been classified as a pandemic by WHO (world health organization) it does have a higher mortality rate then the 1918 major pandemic that killed an estimated 50 million plus(1918 pandemic had a mortality rate of 2% and the corona virus has a “claimed” mortality rate of 3.4%) yes it is definitely something to be aware of but this has reached the level of insanity.

Now I do have to be careful as I am on the high risk list, because of my autoimmune disease and the immuno suppressants I am currently on.
