Favorite Burger šŸ”

I’m a simple man. Five Guys’ Bacon Cheeseburger (double) with lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, ketchup, and mayo. Simple classic I never grow tired of.

As far as the best I’ve tried, that’s probably when my uncle grilled up some bison burgers in Montana. He somehow kept the meat tender while most restaurants make bison super thick and chewy. Great texture and flavor, very different from beef.

It’s had to beat homemade.

I was addicted to sugar on buttered toast with cinnamon shaken on top…loads of butter… it was the only meal we could religiously complete before CCs would rush us out of the mess hall…

Haha. Eat it now, taste it later.

I still like cinnamon sugar toast. Would eat it as a kid. It’s a bit much on the sugar intake, but it’s so yummy.

Please, don’t laugh, but I find the best burgers at food trucks. These have gained popularity for serving gourmet and creative burgers with a twist. If you’re looking for an easy Alfredo sauce recipe to elevate your homemade burger experience, I recommend checking out local food truck events or gathering information from foodie groups to discover unique burger options near me.

Grandpa’s Burger Haven, S. Federal Blvd, Denver.

Shoutout Denver :eyes: I’ve never been, but I’ll have to check it out!

There’s a place in town called Jaspers that besides their awesome selection of burgers also has exotic meats to choose from…Bison, Elk, Buffalo, Boar, Kangaroo, All Natural Beef. They had Camel :two_hump_camel: for awhile but looks like it’s not available anymore.(never got to try it.)
One of my favorites from them is this…

Jiffy

An outrageous simple favorite…JIF peanut butter underneath, raspberry chipotle, bacon and provolone cheese.

Great with the Bison or Boar patty :face_savoring_food:

Since we’re discussing burgers with peanut butter :winking_face_with_tongue::oncoming_fist:.Immortal Spirits has probably my favorite burger, maybe ever…

  • THAI FIGHTER - $14

BACON, MOZZARELLA, PEPPER/ONION JELLY, SPICY PEANUT BUTTER, THAI PEANUT SLAW

Sweet, spicy, savory, smoky with the crispy slaw…theres a lot going on with this one!…sooo good!!

A very close second and possibly tied is ā€œThe Burgerā€ at Holstein’s

The Burger

Galbi glaze, crispy yams, nori furikake, tempura avocado & spicy mayo

Well, now that I’ve pissed some people off with the ā€œpeanut butter on burgersā€ talk…..akin to the sacrilege of putting pineapple on pizza. I’m going to go hide :face_with_peeking_eye:

I’ve never tried it (yet) but it’s not that much of a leap from beef satay, eaten with a spicy peanut sauce, so it makes perfect sense to me.

Sobelman’s Pub and Grill has the best burgers in my area. They’re consistent every time I go, which is half the battle.
