Bottlehead just released a headphone stand kit (and it quickly sold out). Let the space age return. That fuzz on the edges???
The 70’s are back…
I’d put it in the 1950s or 1960s, such as:
LA Airport 1961:
McDonald’s restaurants in the 1950s and 1960s:
That looks like 1963 based on the copper Chevy. I been to those Mickey D’s. Hamburger 10¢ and Cheeseburger 12¢. Sign would change every couple of months “Over 30 Million Sold” and a new card would say 40, 50…
Here’s another new one that is up for grabs. It’s boxelder burl that is dyed black. All the other color is natural and really popped with the dye.
While you make beautiful stands, please do not use this forum just as a store.
As with reviewers who post their links etc., we expect a least a little interaction on the forum other than for sale ads.
Thanks!
OMG that is just too much to take in! I’m like Homer Simpson drooling over here.
Are those all yours, or did you steal someone’s candy here?
Seriously, I didn’t know you had RAD-0s, are those new? You like?
Of the three I couldn’t even begin to say what’s prettier. It’s like when Winnie the Pooh was asked “Do you want honey or jam with your toast?” He said “both please”
The headphones and stands are mine, I have more, but my Utopia and Verite didn’t match my stands as well as the other three.
I’ve had the RAD-0 for a while. I like it a lot. It doesn’t get as much time as it deserves because I tend to use my Caldera or Utopia 2022 the most, but every time I use it, I’m astonished at how musical it is, and yell at myself for neglecting it.
I’m kind of the same way… I tend to reach for Utopia, or one of my ZMFs first as well.
Silly us!
Anyone know of any beautiful stands for IEMs? I’d like to have a way to display my Noble Viking Ragnars, when I have them in my paws.
very nice! I’d like to get your strap upgrade for my RAD-0. How do I go about doing that?
PM me and we can sort out the details.
I’m new to this and have no idea how to PM you…

I’ve used a number of headphone stands, but there’s always been some aspect of them that have been unsatisfying. Some are too light and flimsy, others are made of metal and have sharp corners, and others have a vertical support that is too thin or a bad shape that leaves a permanent dent in your headband.
Until now.
I’ve purchased two headphone stands from this shop on Etsy. It hits all the check boxes I care about, and I’ve been really happy with the quality.

But please do not let your cat near the scratching post
I use this headphone stand regularly
and whenever I use the headphones, very useful things come out of this stand:
Great. Just great. If Stereophile sees this post, they’ll start using “doughy” as a superlative for sound quality.
Will it make me enough “bread” to afford my Subtonic Storms?
