Audio technica ATH-M0x, looking for a clean bass boost

I’ve tried this preset with my Clear OG and Roon EQ. It sounds fantastic! Like the HD650 mids but with bass extension and air in the treble, well-rounded soundstage, layering, and depth. I didn’t know the good ol’ Clear is capable of this. The EQ presets I tried before just sounded off to me.

Thank you so much for doing this!

Would you mind posting a preset for Mega5EST as well? The bass seems to be easy to reduce with just a low shelf, but I’m not sure how to how to fix the ear gain region.

DMS Omega is one where I really don’t want to put out an EQ before I have data on another head, so stay tuned for that one.

The Elegia is a closed back headphone with both significant unit variation and significant on-head variation, such that I’m really not sure if any EQ I can provide would be helpful. However, I’ll provide one nonetheless. Just make sure you tweak to your liking.

Can I possibly have EQ for Sony MDR-Z1R

Thank you in advance.

Has there been an EQ for the Dan Clark E3? I know it doesn’t need much but it’d be neat to try out.

E3 is probably smack dab in the middle of the prefference curve lol.

When DMS measured it he actually showed a bit of extra energy in the ear gain area, though it was still in the preference bounds. Oratory’s measurements are somewhat similar.

Subjectively, I can hear it. The headphone seems to benefit from some reductions above 2.5k.

Would it be possible to get the EQ for the Kiwi Ears KE4? Especially interested in seeing how you change the mentioned earlier rise for the upper midrange

Is the Sennheiser HD 558 doable? They do not get much attention in the EQ world it seems

Would it be possible to create a profile for the somewhat maligned Aeon 2 Open?

I’ve found that it responds well to eq and would love to see your recommendations.

Thanks for this thread. Very helpful.

Requesting the R70x Refine!

Very good EQ! This has replaced Oratory’s EQ for the Elex (modified by ear) as my baseline.

My modifications:

-1 dB at 185 hz (cut 1 dB less)
+3 dB at 4800 hz (boosts 2 dB less)
-1 dB at 5900 hz (cuts 1 dB less)
-1.5 dB at 9000 hz (cuts 2 dB less)

All very well within the realm of the baseline EQ.

I’ve noticed in general that I like a little more warmth/mid-bass, and am also sensitive to the 4k ish region. Some headphones EQ’d to Harman OE can sound super glary to me (but not all).**** Also not as averse to upper treble as some :stuck_out_tongue:

What the heck, I’ll request
