If anyone knows the Freq/Q values for the Maxwell’s in-built EQ app, would be happy to do one for that too.
Hello! Thank you for your unprecedentedly helpful and charitable work!
I’m sorry if this inquiry is not exactly on topic here, as I am not asking for a complete EQ preset (as I’m not yet sure if I’m going to keep or sell the IEMs). Though maybe it would make sense to make one anyway even before anyone asks for it… Whatever.
May I ask you how would you address the upper treble of the new DUSK specifically? Would you say a peak filter at 14000 kHz with Q value of ~2 (basically what Crinacle himself have used) would be effective enough? How much should I expect that elevation (it’s a resonance as per my understanding?) to shift in frequency range due to a fit/insertion depth variation?
Between manual sine sweep and/or pink noise based equalisation proving dishearteningly hard for me to do; and aiming for elimination of all perceived peaks & dips, i.e. a perceived equal loudness itself being not exactly the right approach anyway as far as I understand it… I’m afraid I can’t count on that method.
Oh, and just one more - Audio Technica wp900. I’ve tried doing it myself, and it does improve it a little. Just seeing if your expertise can make it better. Also your preset for the Th900 mk2 sounds wonderful. To the point where i won’t sell them. Thanks again.

One last one from me. Its a relatively obscure one - Audio Technica ATH 2000 Ti. Heres a measurement i found. I tried my own eq and the results are a little improvement. Just seeing if you can work a little magic. Cheers!
Uhh, this measurement isn’t labeled so I don’t know which trace is the headphone, what rig it was measured on, what compensation was used, or what circumstance it was measured in.

Hi listener, I would first like to thank you for the eqplayground website its really awesome, but I wanted to know where did you find or get the clone kb50xx measurement of the maxwell?
I would love to also obtain it as I would like to compare the fr across different measurement heads, thank you

IMPORTANT: Adjust band 8’s frequency and gain according to where you hear this peak. It will vary depending on your anatomy, and likely won’t show up with the exact same frequency or magnitude as the measurements on these heads, as even the data for these heads have a bit of variance in this region.
Also, please remember to report back with your thoughts on the presets, y’all! Definitely want to know how people are enjoying them, especially relative to other methods out there, if y’all are testing vs. eg Oratory or Jaakko’s settings.
