Loudness Normalization on Tidal

I wanted to get everyone’s opinion out there on Tidal’s loudness normalization feature.

Do you turn it on or off?

I was trying to figure out why Tidal was turned down in the windows volume mixer and I guess this is why.

I feel like it’s easier to get the music to sound better (Read louder) with it turned off obviously, but I’m afraid about forgetting it’s off and then going from a quiet song to something a little less… quiet.

I have it set to “Off” just as I do for Apple’s “Music” app.

I figure if I need it louder I’ll just adjust the volume myself. I don’t want software fiddling with it.

(this cracks me up)

The character limit isn’t exactly the cause of my eBloviation…but it certainly contributes to it.
