Welcome all new comers.
Hi and welcome @JoeyGun.
Welcome @JoeyGun enjoy this great group of music lovers!!
Welcome @Caffeineandmusic !!!
Iām learning my way around here too.
Wow, you lived twenty years or so in HK. Thatās about double of me. I actually worked in Singapore back around 2011 for about half a year. Lots of good food there but I couldnāt eat things that went beyond my spice tolerance levels. Youāll have to tell me about the odd bod chifi that is here in HK.
Thatās quite a compromise that you have to make there, since itās usually the higher end equipment that looks the most aesthetically pleasing.

Welcome @wkw !!
Yeah, lifeās a bitch but I suffer through it all with a smile on my face hahaha. Jokes aside though, if Iām comparing something, I will usually ask my wife for my opinion as she has better hearing than mine and has no bias. The odd thing I find is that many ladies I know love hearing music on my home rig and have in the past actually asked for a demo during a party and sat quietly to listen. Quite eerie really, you know, a house party going dead quiet while every one sits and listens. They seem to love the music but couldnāt give a ratās @#$% about the rig Have to get more ladies into this hobby!
Re HK chifi, have a wander down Apliu Street in Shamshuipo and remember to also look up above street level. If interested in computer stuff and gaming, try Golden Arcade in the same area; heaps of fun!

Hello and welcome @wkw and @Caffeineandmusic.
Welcome to this great community @Zer0
Welcome @Zer0 !!!
Hi everyone!
Long time audiophile hear. Started with one of the original Sony Walkmans and have always had an interest in portable gear. Jumped in both feet last year with the Tin T2 and was shocked at the state of Chi-Fi (in a good way). Sitting with a THX amp/dac and Sundara as my fixed work setup loving it.
Portable wise, I currently use a LG V30 with a Tin P1 (hi impedance mode with heavy EQ) I have spent a lot of time with the P1 and have found a particulary great combination that I will post in detail in another post shortly.
Personally, I love to read others reviews and thoughts on gear. I welcome questions regarding any gear I use, or have used.
So thatās a short intro. Greetings from London Ontario and I look forward to being a part of the community.
Cheers!
Jeff

Welcome @JeffreyDevos!!
(And anyone else if I missed them!)
Appreciate yāall welcomes!
Started off with the Sennheiser 58X. Now, Iām at the Abyss TC. Would love to try out the SR1a and a suitable amp for the TC. Audiophile community is very helpful, fun, and help people go broke (for real, jk though). And, as long as none of us takes things too seriously or in a negative manner, this will be like Starbucks to chill (for me at leastā¦since Iāve never done Starbucks). A pre-midway journey.
