Cool, cool. I can’t for the life of me keep all the subgenres of these styles organized in my head. It would probably help if I lived in the UK, and was doing alot of clubbing. I think my clubbing days may be mostly over though. 
I cannot tell a lie. It was me. Some of the picks on the staff lists here are pretty good…
There is also a thread here for electronic music, which you might enjoy. I haven’t personally listened to much there though.
I listen to alot of country in my car. At home I listen to music from all over the world. Especially the Balkans/Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin America, The Middle East, and Africa. There are a few pop artists I like as well, like yer Dua Lipas, Kylie Minogues, Tinashes, Madonnas, and so forth. Some is pretty kitsch, but fun. 
I have been listening to some KISS as well recently. And Meatloaf. Wasn’t a huge fan back in the day. But I enjoy some of the more theatrical rock bands, including glam and hair metal bands. And as I listen to more of these artists now, I like some of what they were tryin to do as groups and artists. They were really just about putting on a good show, and givin the fans a fun ride, I think.
