I thought that might be the case, oh well.
I no longer really use the sabaj so will probably sell it and put the money towards a headphone amp with analogue inputs.

You could extract the digital audio signal from the HDMI but I was confused as to why it would have an HDMI output anyway. Checking the Lyngdorf website says it is an HDMI input so that makes more sense (and discards the extraction idea).
