Congrats on the 660S. Resolution-wise, I think this driver plays almost in the same league as the HD800S.

The only thing I don’t like about the 660S–and I recognize at this point that I’m clearly in the minority with these kind of comfort issues–is that the pads on the 6XX are flatter than the ones on the 660S, and I feel like the sharper edge of the newer headphones digs into my skull a bit. It’s really annoying.

I have these two sets from the post below installed in my 600 and 660S, and they are holding up quite nice. They’re a little thicker than stock:

Recently, I saw Zeos praising for (what he’s called) an improved pads for the HD 6 series from Dekoni, so I decided to check them out. Link here. Given the good experience I had with the fenestrated sheepskin for the HD800S, I’m currently itching myself in trying the same fabric for the 6x0 family. The only thing that holds me back is the Choice Leather version which is sitting in the drawer. Sound was awful.
