Yes, Alex is correct. Doug and I had intended to build more T4 amplifiers (he already sent me some wood). I even completed an order to the metal shops for more casework. However, SumR Transformers, the maker of the power transformer toroid used in the T4, informed us that they were shutting down indefinitely and might not ever return to making transformers.
Unfortunately, there is nothing else on the market with the specs we need that is the same size. They’re either too tall or the diameter is too large. We are investigating a couple of possibilities, but haven’t determined anything certain yet.

Well deserved praise in my opinion! I’m in a couple other groups that have the T4 and they love them as well!!
Hopefully you can source more parts soon, so more people can hear this amazing amp

Been in communication with Tom and its not looking very promising at this time for another run of T4’s if ever.
There is some activity for a new amp but this is all up in the air…
So for you T4 owners, take good care of them, they might become indeed “rare” amps for sure.
